Good Guys Media was established in 2009 by Duncan Sibbald and Robin Culpan to meet the new demands of producers, content owners, media buyers and retailers. Together they have over 25 years experience in the home entertainment and media industry.
Duncan has worked with some of the largest brands in the world, including National Geographic, The Discovery Channel, AOL-Time Warner, Channel 4, along with major sporting bodies including the International Olympic Committee, Wimbledon, FIFA, UEFA, the International Rugby Board.
Over the last ten years he has established excellent trading relationships with all the major retail outlets in the UK including Amazon, Tesco, HMV and WH Smith.
His wide knowledge and understanding of sales through non-traditional outlets brings an enviable track record in the home entertainment arena, ensuring that the maximum potential is made of each title and, equally importantly, the brand.
Robin was the Senior DVD Buyer at Entertainment UK, the largest distributor of entertainment product in the UK. In the last ten years he has managed and planned major product propositions for all the key retailers.
He has been one of the leading industry figures for DVD throughout its entire lifecycle, introducing it as a new format to retailers in the late 1990’s, right through to managing entire customer’s promotional propositions on the high street, in supermarkets and online.
Robin has excellent personal relationships with product managers and buyers at all the key UK retailers. He understands their business needs inside out and this knowledge allows him to work collaboratively with retailers to consistently maximise opportunities and revenues.
